Alyssa graduated from the University of Central Missouri and has been a practicing speech-language pathologist since 2014. She is experienced with school-based populations and understands the benefits and limitations of therapy in that setting. Alyssa is confident in addressing disorders and delays in the areas of articulation, phonological processes, receptive language, expressive language, fluency, pragmatic language, and assistive technology. Her experience does also extend to older populations with treatment types including cognitive-linguistic deficits (memory and problem solving), as well as treatment of swallowing disorders.
